First General Baptist Church has a global vision reaching out with both prayer and financial support of several ministries.
We are very proud to support a family from our church who has dedicated their lives to missions. This family is currently in China, working with an organization which places people in hard to access areas and facilitates the planting and maturing of churches.
General Baptist International was established in 1902 and is serving through mission work in the areas of India, China, Honduras, Saipan, Mexico, and the Philippines. Our support is given through the "Ed Stevens" offering as well as "Unified Giving".
Faith Home Child Care Center is a missionary ministry of General Baptist International in Honduras. Faith Home provides a safe and healthy environment in which to care for and educate Honduran children who have been rescued from a life of neglect, abuse and abandonment.
Casa Para Ninos is a children's home located in Guatemala that cares for over 400 orphaned and abused children. Our church has been privileged to visit and support Casa in the past. First General Baptist Church made to visit Casa Para Ninos in Summer, 2008.
